Veterans' Housing
Two housing programs, one campus, built for those who served.

Housing Options at Brighton Marine
BrightonOne operates two housing programs on the same Brighton campus, each designed to meet veterans where they are. Whether you're seeking modern independent living or comprehensive supportive services, we have a path built for you.

The Residences at BrightonOne
Built in partnership with WinnCompanies, The Residences at BrightonOne is a modern apartment community designed for veterans and military families who want contemporary living with community connection. Studio through two-bedroom units offer flexibility, and amenities include fitness facilities, gathering spaces, and accessible design throughout.
The Residences is comprised of six stories, with a range of units from studio to three bedrooms, covered and uncovered parking, and community amenities such as fitness center, community room, media room, classroom and child play area.

Situated along tree-lined Commonwealth Avenue and adjacent to the MBTA Green Line, Residences at Brighton Marine puts you in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood and just minutes from downtown Boston.

The units are to Brighton Marine’s campus and provide apartments for qualifying veterans and their families who want to live in Boston but do not have the means to afford more expensive housing options.

Veterans' Housing With Wraparound Care
In the fall of 2020, BrightonOne opened a facility for Veterans who call our campus home. Veterans Housing at Brighton Marine is an affordable housing facility featuring featuring 25 apartments specifically for vulnerable homeless veterans.

A Support System For Our Veterans
BrightonOne's Veterans' Housing program serves veterans of all income levels with supportive services designed to build housing stability and community connection. Case management, counseling, and peer support are woven into daily life, creating a foundation for long-term success.
The facility is fully furnished and includes a full kitchen and private bathrooms.
Housing is only one component of the care that Veterans receive as tenants of the Veterans Housing at Brighton Marine. They also have full access to every partner and program within the Coordinated Veterans Service network and Soldier On, from financial coaches to addiction treatment counselors. While uncommon in most affordable housing programs for Veterans, this level of support is crucial to ensure the long-term success of vulnerable Veterans.
Current tenants range in age from 31 to 84. Using vouchers awarded to the Boston Housing Authority, monthly rent and support services are funded for as long as tenants need.

“This apartment is a blessing. I’m grateful….they give us everything we need, I couldn’t ask for anything more.”
